Salacia Center's a bundle of shops, restaurants, and hang-out spots for the students and employees of Kohaku University. Vacationers show up there too, but the Center is as a rule low-key and casual. Tori's Tea Shop is a popular café for studying. Sol Pizza arguably sells the best pizza in town. Ditto Books is a bookstore and university publisher that's eerily run by dittos in the shape of humans.

A prestigious center of learning, Kohaku University is world-famous. Best known for their research in legendary pokemon and fossil cloning, they've now turned their greatest minds towards finding a cure to the hades virus. So far, they've thrown billions of dollars at a potential cure, and they have billions more to spare. Eos researchers are welcome here, and the University is keen to spoil them with limitless resources.

Every region needs its cruise, and Kohaku has its luxurious S.S. Claire, which travels between Proserpina City and Sol City each week. First class passengers live like kings, but second class passengers still enjoy comfortable quarters with more food and drink than they know what to do with. The Eos program worked out free passage with the second class for its participants, but typically tickets are exorbitantly expensive.

A beach resort where you'd least expect it, Sol Strand lies on the other side of Mt. Aurae, and it's nothing but perfect sand and crystal clear waters. Connected by port to the rest of Kohaku, it's a prime vacation spot that also hosts the accalaimed Kohaku University. Between the sun and the breeze, surf's always up, but now times are grimmer as the University redoubles its efforts to combat the scourge.
