Muta Boathouse used to provide outdoorsy adventurers and vacationers with boats to explore the lake. It just so happened to also be one of the best fortified buildings in the area, and now some daring rangers and researchers work out of the boathouse, battling and studying the scourge as best they can. It's the closest thing you'll have to a rest stop while going through these parts.

REQUIRES SURF TO ACCESS - Scourge pokemon are not dumb, shambling zombies. They are plenty capable of their own hierarchy, and it's Lemures Circle at the top. Lemures Circle was once a rose garden on the other side of the lake, but the true circle today are the elite scourge that inhabit it. The ace trainers dubbed them the Furies, and they are the fiercest, smartest, and blood-thirstiest of the scourge.

Lympha Bog smells like death, and it's filled with poison pokemon and sludge. The toxic environment here predates the Pax Institute, which is blameless for the bog's miasma (in fact, the scientists tried cleaning the place up before giving up forever). If you're willing to brave the noxious air and trudging through the bog, Lympha Bog is the shortest path from Meditrina to Decima Town.

Lake Pax is the root of the hades virus, where pokemon researchers at the secluded Pax Institute sought to genetically enhance pokemon to ensure certain natures and individual traits. Little did they know, the project would backfire horrifically. Now, Lake Pax is lost to humanity altogether, with the research institute left in ruins. Wild pokemon can survive by keeping their heads down, but trainers and their pokemon won't escape unscathed.
