Really, she was only here to have Amdusias finally evolve -- it had been long enough since she had hatched the then-magnetite, after all, and she was getting vaguely creeped out by the three eyes on the thing.
So they traveled the Moonlit Station together in comfortable silence, just waiting for a pokemon to arrive.
Unfortunately, this Ampharos was the unlucky fellow that happened to come by. He was a jolly old thing, humming to himself, bouncing from one foot to the other. He meant no harm. In fact, when the Ampharos happened across Delilah and the Magneton, he gave a cheerful, "Amphy! Ampharos!" and waved his yellow paw at them.
This Ampharos was the happiest and cutest Ampharos there ever was in the whole damn world.
Too bad he was going to get beaten up by Amdusias for the sake of evolving. Mordecai probably would have sit down with the electric Pokémon and had a chat. This was Delilah the Menace, so he'll probably be left for dead. Oh well.

If you're thinking any thoughts of how heartless and cruel Delilah is for attacking such a happy, cute pokemon -- and how Tuyet must absolutely hate Ampharos to attack one that's so friendly -- you're right on one count and wrong on the other. One, Delilah is heartless and cruel and yes she will order Amdusias to attack for the sake of leveling up. Two, god I love Ampharos they are the most adorable things I mean come on look at its pre-evolutions ok.

The Ampharos shrieked as a Magneton suddenly came sailing towards him. The creature leaped in shock as it was smacked in the side by the Tri-Attack. On the other hand, the Supersonic was way off target because Tuyet's rolling skills are not very good. This gave the Pokémon enough time to sneak some attacks in. First came Agility because +speed can be a godsend, and then it went to teach that Magneton not to mess with it. Take a fiery fist of fury to the face, sucker.

Zulf's heart goes out to this Ampharos. Poor thing. It kind of sucks to mod it because the Ampharos' fate was sealed as soon as it waltzed into Tuyet's open mod thread. In any case, the Ampharos still has some fight left in it, and decides to throw a wrench into whatever strategy Delilah's got (which, knowing Tuyet, is probably a straight-up beat-'em-up type) by releasing spores into the air. Also, take another fiery fist to the face hell yeah.

If Ari thought this level 99 Ampharos would go down without a fight, she is sorely mistaken. Neither the Pokémon nor Zulf have much qualms about continuing to smack the Magneton with fists of fury. The Tri-Attack smarts a bit, but no biggie. The Ampharos has this in the bag. It starts dishing out attacks like there's no tomorrow. This Ampharos is the most hardcore that Delilah's ever seen, believe it.
