no one had seen him in centuries. they all thought he had fallen. and they were right, he had fallen. but that doesn't mean he wasn't still here.
the salamence was making quite the racket, his tail swinging against the trees, knocking dozens of precious berries to the ground. he let out a roar. he is king here, and he has come to claim his kingdom.
along with his much smaller green henchman.

some days, grayson really regretted getting out of bed. today, jigsaw was jello in his hood, snoozing while occasionally twitching. the blue blob of squishy pokemon looked extremely comfortable in the furred material, while grayson himself froze in the january air.
"well, glad to see you're so cozy." he glanced back behind him, wondering where his companion had gone.
((only got three pkmn to fight here. flygon lv70, swampert lv50, torterra lv50.))
"grayson," ignatius drawled, "stop moving so fast."
zalitz wasn't a very brave creature. it was ready to fight now, but at the same time, it was horribly new to battling after a long time away from the frontlines. its previous encounter with scourge had left it scarred and traumatized. helping it get over its fear had taken ... quite the amount of time, and ignatius didn't want to see it undone.
"let's take some time to smell the metaphorical flowers."
zalitz peered over his shoulder to look at the breeder.

grayson stopped, sighing. "i don't really have the patience to smell the flowers. they don't even smell nice." grayson tried to look intimidating, but having a ditto engulfing your head wasn't particularly beneficial.
ignatius paused in his step at the sound of the roar. "and there are your flowers," said the researcher. he retrieved zalitz's pokéball and recalled the creature. a flygon wasn't exactly subtle.
salamence boasts another roar when he sees the two mortals staring up at him. he stomps a foot on the ground, ready for his meal. the xatu looked at him and happily agreed- although it knew it would only be getting the scraps. salamence was a dirty pig.
