She took piano lessons and was exceptionally skilled in the fields of science and math. Her family was of middle class, not rich yet not poor. Looking back, it seemed like a golden, hazy, summer night's dream, where only peace and happiness prevailed. The Scourge reached Decima Town as soon as it swarmed in from the other world, and Phoebe and her family was forced to move all the way to Juno City in a long, dangerous trek. Finding it hard to get jobs, her parents were at a loss and lived for awhile on the streets, carrying out the occasional odd job request to feed themselves.
