So there was more to it than to meet him? Of course. It had been a long time. J has his own life. There were others that he entertained. Once he had placed the pokedex back down, Rome took it and tucked it back into his coat. There was far too little in it. There hadn't been much chance of him loosening up in this stuffy environment they called a city. Rules of society bound him far to strictly to have his fun. Just scanning pokemon would be boring. There needed to be something extra. There always would. It was a feeling he would never fully hide.

Like a cheshire cat, he smiled when J agreed to his demand. He leaned forward in his seat, hand cupped around his empty coffee cup. The man looked to J with an 'innocent' look. He hadn't forgotten. "So what did you come back here for?"

J cocked his head, and wondered if he should tell the truth. his eyes glanced at rome's knowing ones; his course of action was soon apparent. "thanatos," he said, "it awoke." his mouth curved into a smile, a wistful, faraway one quite unlike J.

when thanatos woke, hypnos would be near. hypnos would put men to sleep, and thanatos would make them sleep forevermore. "might have sensed something." J glanced away, rising from his seat before rome did. "might be time, too." his gaze was focused towards the faraway distance, in the general direction of ceres.

J left some money on the table, an uncharacteristic smirk taking over his smile as he left for ceres forest.
