It was amazing how many good ideas they had between the two of them amidst the worst idea ever.

Neo smiled, and then a woman over by the bar cried out in outrage. "Theft! Someone took wallet! My IDs!" Neo's smile quickly faded. For a second, she was genuinely nervous, but then she managed to cover it with baffled concern. "Someone's stealing in a place like this? Don't they cut your hands off for that kind of thing?"

The security began to descend on the casino floor.

Swiftly, Neo grabbed Dalia--Delilah, whatever--by the arm. "We should go," Neo said as lightly as she could. She giggled, and this time it was clearly nervous. Oops. Quick, Neo, make an excuse for the nervous giggling. "Cops shcare me."

Dalia blinked. (No wait, she was Delilila -- Delilah.) She blinked in slow confusion, then finally caught on and nodded with Neo. "Yeah, stealing is totally wrong. Don't you think?" She bat her eyelashes at Tom, whose eyebrows came together. He nodded at her, and Delilah giggled.

She didn't even notice the security until Neo mentioned cops. "Oh, uh." Right.

Right.

This wouldn't end well.

"Yes, we'll go -- cops are scary -- call me later, Tom --" and then she was tugged in some other direction by her companion. Delilah's eyes narrow. "What do we do? What do we do?"

She started walking for the exit, grabbing Delilah as she went. Tom had the wallet. Tom didn't take the wallet. Tom--once he sobered up a little--could probably figure out exactly who did.

"I think we should go."
