J glanced around. nothing seemed edible around the place. even though humans couldn't contract the hades virus, he wasn't sure if ingesting it would cause a bad reaction. he had not much on him either, except for a chocolate bar which he broke into half and offered to delilah without saying much.

she took the offered chocolate with a raised eyebrow. funny. "i didn't peg you as a 'sweets' type of person," she remarked, taking a large bite. "thanks, though."

he found chocolates perfectly good food for surviving on the road. he preferred rice eons more than chocolates, however.

"you're welcome," he said, pocketing the other half. he wasn't hungry.

[tuyet]

she felt vaguely bad for taking his chocolate -- it was his food, after all -- but the growling of her stomach quickly overcame such doubts. it didn't take her long to finish the bar.

J watched delilah eat, and smirked. hungry people were hungry people, and rarely cared what they were being fed.
