She walked through the darkness to Thalia easily enough, especially with the last vestiges of the flamethrower still providing light. In her hand, she presented a badge. "A good battle. Now, get out. There are more important battles for you outside. Our finest trainers shouldn't linger here, not until the very end."

Esme added, "At the entrance of the gym, there is a crypt sweeper. Show him the badge, and he will give you the other tokens of my congratulations."

Thalia took the badge and folded her hand over it. "Thank you," she said, started to turn away, and then turned back. "I'll do my best. You won't see me here again for a long time, I hope."

With that, she was walking out of the darkness, trying not to trip over her own feet, before stopping briefly at the crypt keeper (seriously? couldn't just call him a secretary or a receptionist?) to ask for her spoils of war.
