The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

"No! I'm not leaving here until I kill them!" Emily turned to Regina with a determined face. "This is for all those people I met! To whom I swore to protect!" At the sight of the Whimsicott being killed, she smirked. But blinked as a male she'd never seen suddenly arrived on the scene.
"Who are you?" she called out to the ranger, who was preparing a sign to help in the battle. His pokemon came out too, and Emily nodded a silent thanks to him as she recalled her Togetic and sent out another pokemon in her stead. She also threw one of her virus balls at the Whimsicott.

Buildings were falling to the feraligator's might. It was still strong despite its falling allies. Regina watched it with a gawking awe, holding tight to Emily with a queasy grip. She withdrew the teether deino and looked at Leonardo with a bitter hope. He patted her head with heavy thumps.
"The Feraligatr still has a plan. Why isn't it backing down?? This is insane!..."
She followed Emily's stare. "Our luck, a ranger!" she laughed miserably.
Electabuzz used substitute. Electabuzz used discharge on feraligator.
Blastoise used mist on its allies. Blastoise dug into the earth.

"i'm a pokémon ranger," isaac said, as he lifted his styler to complete the sign. the sign gleamed in the gloomy hills, before spiralling towards the feraligatr.

chansey used heal pulse on vibrava. chansey used minimize.
shroomish dodged leer. shroomish used seed bomb on feraligatr.
"Thank you..." Emily called out to the ranger. She didn't want to put anyone else in danger like this, but both Regina and the ranger had joined the fight on their own. After the Luxray was caught, Emily focused her attacks on the Feraligatr.
