Yes, Mordecai was back again. He refused to leave Bacchus and Pal Park until the Scourge had disappeared from the area. This was his home, and he was not about to allow it to be overtaken by these wretched Pokémon. He had to pass through Pal Park anyways to head back "home". Delilah had to cross the open, muddy fields too, but the fact that she was an incredibly competent trainer kept his mind at ease. He was not so much afraid as he was concerned.
Then again, with each new battle, his Pokémon were even more prepared to take on the impending Scourge thread on Bacchus Town. Soon, they would be gone.
So the man wrung his wrists, keeping a close eye on his surroundings.
