"good job, that was bigger than the last one. we'll keep working on it, okay?" luke patted the barboach, who wiggled happily. "great. we're not too far from getting you to a whiscash."

it was like an oiled machine now. ryn blasted magical leaf through the forest, gliding through to aim at smaller trees. it was followed with psychic to pick up the broken parts of tree. always the environmentalist.
meanwhile, james was bounding around, double kicking everything he could. there was power involved, as well as aim.

james and luke's new chikorita were swimming in the pool. james seemed to be doing well, doggy-paddling his way forward. the chikorita, meanwhile, maybe this was a bad idea. luke was helping her along, one hand underneath the chikorita in case she started to sink again. "it's okay girl, you can do it." james reached the end and turned around with a somersault, while the chikorita was still at the beginning of the pool.
addi and rondo were jogging along the track, keeping pace with each other. "all right, after this we're going through the obstacle course!" rondo barked, speeding forward. he jumped through his hoops on his track while addi... tried to weave between cones.
she fell on her face.
the growlithe finished his course before doubling back, licking at addi's face. "thanks bud..."

"all right little guy." the baby snorunt looked around, mildly intimidated. luke's chikorita was already running around the track, plowing through obstacles instead of going around them. well, whatever worked.
"it's okay, we'll take it slow. want to try a powder snow?" luke coaxed. the snorunt's eyes went huge, and it shook its head vehemently. "okay. let's just watch leah for now." the snorunt nodded and hid behind luke's leg, watching the chikorita aggressively ram through everything on the track.

a gastly floated around, licking targets happily while luke sighed. he looked to cain, the drapion actually doing damage to the targets after being licked by the gastly. "good job. keep it up." the drapion switched from slash to night slash, as well as throwing toxic spikes down on the ground. "yeah, you got this." he murmured, taking a deep breath.

addi rolled around on the ground while rondo ran around her. she changed position often, creating obstacles that the growlithe would have to either jump over or duck under. "you got this, rondo!" the growlithe barked happily, before he plowed right into addi's leg.
"... maybe you'll get it tomorrow..."
pike was firing off spike cannons at a set of moving targets, the cloyster looking exceedingly satisfied with his aim. the aggron beside him was practicing aim with his dragon rush, letting out powerful roars in between. grayson stood by and watched, watering pike when he needed it and feeding ankh when he grew tired. "good job."

"garrett, shadow ball. james, agility." the umbreon fired off strong shadow balls, charging them up as quickly as possible. meanwhile, the jolteon was darting around the gym before moving on to an obstacle course, clearing the tasks easily. over the last hurdle, however, his paw caught on the hurdle, knocking it over. the jolteon whined.
"it's okay." luke set it back up. "just try again."
