grayson joseph lumina

grayson was once a fun loving jackass, cheerful to see that he was alone without human life around him and without friends. but he's realized that honestly, to get through the scourge he's got to stop being such a wad.

little by little he's trying to be nice to people, but he still sucks at it. please bear with him, he's trying to reform. however, reform only really happens on certain days of the month. if he's woken up on the wrong side of the bed, or rather his side of the bed, there's a likely chance reform won't happen.

he's still into cooking, and will often contemplate what kind of emotional progress he's made whilst doing so. i have no idea what he's been doing during the time gap so if you have any plan or idea feel free.

nana the espeon is by far his best friend. sometimes he talks to her and asks how he's doing with friends. she's the coach to his social life. sad. 

alexander faysal. alex.

alex's backstory beyond his teenage years is somewhat lost. idefk his hometown. 

he took an internship at pax because he was a bioengineering major at university. he contributed to the development of the scourge, and is a firm believer of it. he loves the scourge. 

ok now that i've actually threaded with him, alex is one lonesome as fuck guy. sometimes he has good days, where he can actually function as a normal 19 year old. but his bad days are bad. his wish is to find love, since no one really loves him. that's his purpose for wanting to get rid of eos. eos, if they know alex is hades, are just gonna attack him/kill him. so that's not very conducive. but without any more eos, he has a better chance.

luke hope has been in jail for the past year and has almost no idea what's going on with eos. he accidentally filled out a trainer form, got accecpted, and is now just derping his way around. he's a nice guy if you're nice to him, but if you're neil he's just gonna pound the shit out of you no questions asked. and he's perfectly capable of it after spending a year in jail.

besides that, he gets along with most people. he feels most comfortable around other criminals, but tries to be charming to everyone.

adelaide monet, "addi". she's a lighter spirit in kohaku, loves to sing. sh plays piano and violin, she bleeds music. she hates the scourge because it essentially ended her singing career, and she had to put her dream on the back burner. she's kind, sweet, very sociable. really though, i'm not entirely sure of what to do with her. to be honest, she might be a bit too friendly and be misleading. welp. yeah idk. she's a somewhat blank slate right now.

so i have two to throw at you, unless you want to try grayson's luck with scourge.
delilah is the first: she's generally (?) pretty easygoing except when she's not, and i get the feeling -- especially pre-timeskip -- she would be really antagonistic toward grayson? like he's a turd she'll be a turd back and it's a vicious cycle of mutual nastiness.
she'll also side-eye his attempts at reform, but if they ever get stuck together fighting scourge she'll work with him.
... not happily, but she would.

ALSO. sinclair. she's not friendly, unlike delilah, and is also less likely to make conversation? but his jackassyness would also have less of an effect on her, which could be a good thing. idk.
she'll probably respect him because he's stronger than she is, and work with him despite the fact that he's a jerk? and it might be interesting idk.
that or he ends up dragging sin into trouble with his escapades or something.

delilah - yeah grayson's going to have a lot of people antagonistic to him. his attempts probably involve food if he wants to suck up to her.

sinclair - honestly the less conversation there is, the more comfortable grayson would be with a person. to have someone respect him tho that's weird for grayson.

all in all my brain is dead but grayson would probably like sinclair more since she's quieter.

LACEY's out to meet all kinds of different people in this new, scourge world and Grayson's status as a breeder would definitely pique her interest, since she's only met one other trainer and professor cypress so far in her journey. nastiness/rudeness/whatever grayson is haha doesn't bother her in general, she's seen plenty of that stuff in hespera and will probably just stick out her lower lip and pout while spouting absolute random nonsense until he shows her his pokemon/talks to her (preferably both). i think it would make for a p interesting thread, but i'd really like to hear your thoughts on the matter of how/if they would get along etc etc!

grayson's trying to be friendly. if lacey wants to see his pokemon, chances are his espeon is going to guilt him/nag him into being nice to her. with the espeon, he's a total pushover. if he spent enough time with the two of them he might become a pushover to her too. i'd be happy to thread them out and see how it happens!

i like that a lot, a thread would be wonderful, haha. i've been reading around a few threads and i'm definitely interested in seeing grayson's pushover side for sure! i'd be willing to start, but it would have to be in either proserpina or juno, since lacey hasn't made it farther than that yet. would proserpina be okay?
