he spun the card so that the name faced stefan, and slid it to him across the counter. "i assume it's juno. farthest from wherever he came from."

well, that's not ominous at all. also a tad dramatic, but that was neither here nor there.

"not afraid that my face is going to scare him back to sol?" stefan derives amusement from the uses that j has for him, but he handles the card carefully. "is this the top priority?" he liked to know how he should arrange his itinerary for tomorrow, at least. powerful people had the strangest attachments to bloodlines, and stefan will not claim to understand it. j never demonstrated such obsessions, however, so stefan half-suspects there was going to be a heap of cash at the end of the line.
