the shield was both anti-fire and anti-steel. J was very happy with it, contrary to what the charizard may have felt.

"cool," he stated, watching the shield absorb the flames easily and leave it glowing red. it still held strong, and wasn't hot to the touch.

J seemed a bit perplexed. "we can't split this into two."
