NIX NIGHT | Nix broke in to a grin as the other girl asked about her pokemon and nix shook her head happily, "I know the pokemon i want and i need on my team and these guys just arent on that list. They are lovely and im sure someone would love them in their team but they just dont fit mine!" she said as she thought about the others. She did feel bad for owning them and never using them or keeping them in a PC all their life, it wasnt fair. She shook her head and then started to think to herself, "I have a shuppet, never named it but its a nice enough kid. Newly born though. Then theres Little river, another newly born squirtle and hes a lovely little guy. Then theres a sandshrew i found and minx, a little gothita i trained a little before it became apparent we werent going to be right for each other" she said as she listed each of her extra pokemon. It there was one in there the other girl took a shine to or even two she would happily pass them over, it was nice to be nice and all that | Occ -

Taryn nodded at Nix’s words. “I can understand that. I have specific ideas for my own team.” Though her ideas weren’t entirely concrete just yet, she knew she wanted to balance out type weaknesses as best she could. Type advantage wasn’t everything, but she wanted every advantage she could come up with.
Nix listed the Pokemon she was trying to rehome and one immediately stuck in Taryn’s mind. Ground wasn’t exactly her favorite type, but Sandshrew was a species she had a soft spot for. She never could figure out why – she just liked them. If she had one as part of her main team, that would take care of her current weakness against electric types. If not…maybe it could head its own team, someday. She would have to see how life played out for her, she supposed.
“Could I see the Sandshrew?” she asked once Nix had finished speaking.

NIX NIGHT | Nix nodded her head as this new freind of hers asked about one of the pokemon she listed and she shifted herself to let her back pack fall over her side and rest against her before she dipped a hand inside, she has her pokemon in her that she didnt want but she never used them. They were here so she could show them to people if she needed to, in hope of finding them new homes like today. "He doesnt have a name and i dont know his moves, but hes a sweet kid" she said as she pulled out the marked pokeball and then held it out to the other trainer. He just wasnt a pokemon she really liked or wanted, she wasnt a ground type person. Not in the way she wasnt a poison type, they just full on freaked her out, but she just didnt want a ground type. | Occ -

Taryn watched as Nix dug through her backpack and nodded when she explained that he didn’t have a name or a list of known moves. “That’s fine. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out what he’s capable of.” She had managed just fine so far with her current Pokemon.
As soon as the Pokemon was handed to her, Taryn let him out. Immediately after, she decided she loved him. Granted, it wasn’t hard for a Pokemon to gain her love – she fell in love with the eggs at the egg shop all the time and had several favorite species – but it was different when she had no reason to talk herself out of bringing home a new friend.
“He’s adorable.” She smiled. “I really appreciate this. Thank you.”

NIX NIGHT | Nix beamed at the other girl as she could see the happiness growing over the girls face, she was one to just go out of her way to give things up and see random strangers happy. But the look on this girls face and the fact she knew she was aiding this girl in her personal challenge as well as finding the pokemon a trainer that would care for him and help his grow, it was nice to think she was changing the world one little bit for a girl and a pokemon at a time. No one would have ever done this for her when she was new in town and she felt sort of akin to this other girl for that reason, it was an odd but nice feeling | Occ - |
