shamees was good at what he did. the changes happened to J, and he felt nothing at all. he was now walking around with an adamantium skeleton.

"uh, thanks."

J glanced at thalia, who had wished for a master ball. why hadn't that occurred to him? a master ball would have been useful, wouldn't it?

J wondered what would be a good use for one more wish. it felt odd for him to do the wishing, because he didn't know what else he wanted. thalia would probably ask for another item, he thought. money was out of the question. he didn't want money from shamees.

"what about weapons?" said J, remembering shamees and the anvil.

"We have the anvil now though. It has to be something we can't get anywhere else. No sense in wasting it."
