the only experience with deaths by body of water that batin had was in heron's case, and it hadn't been drowning that killed the lucario. he'd barely been waist deep in the water.
although come to think of it, batin had waded into the amberwell after neo and suffered no adverse effects. perhaps he hadn't spent enough time in it.
"i've never drowned," batin said.
"and i have no intention of trying it out. it seems less painful than death by fire." vertigo

growing up the way he did had its perks, he supposed.

truth be told, J had never fought many agents. his interest didn't even lie with them in the first place; as far as things were concerned, he was supposed to curb the spreading of the plague, not deal with real live human beings.
