veronica only shrugs, the tenseness of her hands the only sign that she's irritated, or perhaps annoyed. "with a town like hespera and someone like melchior right next door you'd be distracted too."

"anyway," she continues, "congratulations, you won, it's been an honor battling you, now i'm needed elsewhere. sorry i've gotta run, but hey, duty calls." and the ever so considerate veronica leaves grayson with an attendant walking up to him while carrying a tray with the clear badge, the tm calm mind, a twisted spoon, and four thousand in card, hold cash. it's his right to take all of them - the attendant will wait patiently until he does.

grayson pockets everything. he looks around at the gym, before turning to the attendant. "your boss is a fucking bitch." with that, he stabs the spear into the ground.

almost immediately, the ground splits open in a massive yawn, splitting the gym cleanly in half. "a little goodbye from me to veronica." he spits into the giant fissure and leaves.
