This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

"ahuda, and it's nice to meet you as well. i haven't met you before, though, and i've seen nearly all of the rangers with eos. are you new?"

"but i'm glad i did get one, rondo is wonderful." addi crouches down and lets rondo lick her face, happily having beaten the durant.
"i'm glad you showed up, i wouldn't have known what to do with all those durant."
"welcome to the program, then." ahuda swings her legs, back and forth, on her crate. "i'm sure you would have thought of something, or that someone would have run by to check what the commotion was about. but you're welcome."

sheepishly, addi laughed again, but it was a little strained. "yeah... i hope my scream would have attracted someone. the warehouse is a little ways away from the more populated part of town." speaking of which, addi tilted her head. "what are you doing out here anyway?"
ahuda shrugs, shoulders lifting in a gesture that said, who knows? "i was visiting juno for the gala, and dropped by proserpina to check up on some people. the warehouse was the closest in this cold weather, though, and i was about to duck in here for the warmth when i saw the durant. what were you doing here?"
