name erik alejandro. age twenty. class trainer. hometown proserpina. personality tl;dr and because i'm not counting - charismatic, flirt, empathetic, optimistic, selfless but rebellious, stubborn, opinionated, perfectionist, emotionally-detached. he's everything his parents could have hoped him to be - when he wants to, at least. his parents brought him up to be something of a quick thinker, though whether he makes the right or wrong choices when thinking on his feet is another matter entirely, which typically leans to the wrong side. he was also taught to speak with a silver tongue, charisma being forced into even the simplest of tasks until it became a second nature to erik. however, that didn't stop him from learning to do a few things that his parents didn't exactly think too highly of. while he was charismatic, there was an underlying urge to back it up with something that his parents wouldn't think was acceptable for an heir of the family business - selflessness, empathy, and optimism being among the few that his father would try to stamp out before it grew into something dangerous - for the family business, at least. it didn't take long before erik started to view the world with different eyes, mainly as a place for him to thrive in. he yearned to explore it, to do something that was completely foreign to the phrases and arithmetic that he was forced to learn. soon after, he started to become a tad rebellious ( of which grew as the years progressed ), stubborn, and opinionated. though, not after it was enforced that he become a perfectionist and learn to separate himself from his emotions. eventually he became apathetic to his own feelings, basically cutting them off entirely. history fretting over what roof he'll sleep under or what meal will be on the table next has never been a worry for erik. all his life, he's remembered living under the alejandro household, being told from an early age that his sole duty was to take up the responsibility that the first born must - heir to the throne of his father's business. though, he never did quite enjoy the days spent inside studying arithmetic versus being outside playing with the school children. instead he was taught how to be the perfect business man - to his father's standards, among other various things that would come in handy for the future set out for him. it was no surprise - at least to erik and his best friend, the chef - when he left with only "to find myself" as a reason. his place of choice? the trainer's association, and once he had signed up, there was no backing out. he managed to get himself a private tutor, managing to summon up the ability to focus long enough to pass the test and earning himself a spot in the kohaku region's training program. ooc face claim: PRINCE OF TENNIS, niou masaharu
