This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

GRAND OPENING !

Thalia was scared. The fear was all-consuming. Each step forward she took into Bellona Hills was a stone in her throat, a weight on her chest. Her hands were knotted into fists out of terror and jammed into her pockets. The ruins of wealth lay all around her. When the Scourge had come, money and investment portfolios hadn't mattered. Only who ran the slowest. All the mansions lay empty now, glittering shards of glass from broken windows scattered across the deserted streets.
She stepped carefully over one such fragment of glass and tried to keep her breathing steady. Tried to resist the urge to turn around and run for the relative safety of Nerio, bury under her hotel bed and never come out again. The whole point of this was to lure out a Scourge pokemon. Fight them. Win. Rinse and repeat. And then do it again. And again. Until Bellona was free. And then she'd move on to Bacc--to everywhere else. And keep fighting. That was what she'd signed up for. It was her duty.
Her feet still felt like lead with each step forward though.
It'd spent most of its living life disguised as a tree, standing outside town, arms outreached for the heavens with three green tits growing out of each hand.
It had been a harmless tree. Good for shade.
Now, it stood still as a statue--don't blink--and it watched the hills. It stood perfectly still, like a scarecrow, and it watched.
It waited.
It hungered.
When the trainer stepped by, the sudowoodo did what it did best: attacked her.
Moving in a blur, it blocked Thalia's path, and his tri-tit hands slammed down in a vicious grass hammer.
Thalia barely leapt backward in time. The edge of grass hammer still caught her in the side, and she collapsed on the ground like a crumpled paper doll, her head spinning, the breath punched out of her lungs.
Then she's scrambling to her feet, run, run, run you stupid idiot, desperately yanking every pokeball she can into her hand, almost dropping some in her confusion, and thumbing the release buttons faster than she ever thought humanly possible.
Vulpix and togepi are the ones that pop out at random; she doesn't even issue real orders, just shouts "Kill it!" in a voice that's hoarser than she expected. The pokemon obey.
vulpix used fire spin vulpix used confuse ray
togepi used growl togepi used metronome togepi used flare blitz (wtf)
Thalia's hand shook and hovered over her eevee and dratini's pokeballs. Should she? Would this be enough? she didn't want to endanger any more of her pokemon more than she already had, but she also didn't want to die. admin
The vulpix dodged nimbly away from the rock slide, almost haughty in her disdain for the clumsy move. Almost as an afterthought, she picked up the togepi, which had been stuck (it could only waddle so fast, after all) in the attack's way and leapt to the side, before dropping the egg pokemon on the ground.
The togepi, for once, seemed almost grateful.
They continued their ferocious barrage on the dead-eyed tree monster.
vulpix used faint attack
togepi used mirror move togepi used rock slide admin
The vulpix struck it in the tit (one of its six), and the sudowoodo had given it a solid low kick when--
More rocks!
MORE ROCKS!
ROCKS FALL!
EVERYONE--
It was no prophetical burning bush, but as a burning tree, the sudowoodo raised its hands up high again, this time its body enveloped in flame, and it prophesized that everyone dies.
Sudowoodo used rock slide.
hit by faint attack dodged rock slide restrained by fire spin *
The electricity from the thunderwave shot sparks, and the sudowoodo crackled with static now, its movements stuttering, but no less violent.
It covered its face with tits, guarding itself from the sand attack, and the tackle didn't seem to bother it. But water pulse caused it to screech a dry, brittle sound, partly like wood burning and partly like the shattering of stone.
It mimicked the thunderwave.
It low kicked the eevee.
dodged sand attack hit by thunder wave, loses one attack (its the defensive one bc it aint using them anyway >.>) hit by tail whip hit by tackle hit by water pulse
Bounce bitch bounce bounce. Vulpix might have been down and out for the count, but eevee was quick enough to duck under the sudowoodo's low kick and rattle off a helping hand for the dratini, followed by a dodge in-out quick attack. ineffective, maybe, but better then nothing.
dratini, meanwhile, shot the scourge pokemon a leer, followed by another water pulse.
spam that type advtange, aww yeah.
dodged: low kick eevee used helping hand eevee used quick attack
dratini used leer dratini used water pulse (base power boosted by 50% thank u based helping hand)
Thalia used potion on eevee so it could survive water pulse a second time around oops. admin
This time, the sudowoodo--not generally smarter than you would expect six tits attached to a rock posing as a tree would be--took care to brace itself for the impact of the water pulse.
Still sparking from static electricity itself, it turned the sparks against its enemies. It used thunderwave.
And the green tit hands went up again. It used rock slide.
dodged water pulse. still paralyzed (ditched another defensive move). hit by quick attack, leer.
That's cheating! Thalia wanted to scream as the tit tree dodged water pulse before she remembered it was the zombie apocalypse and pretty much everything was fair game. We're not in Roxanne's gym anymore, kid. There are no rules where we're going.
Eevee crashed out under rock slide, while the dratini snaked away in the nick of time, the sparks from thunder wave still crackling along its scales. Rearing up with all its might, it used water pulse for the hundredth time, it felt like.
And then, in what was not her brightest move ever, Thalia revived togepi. The togepi didn't seem happy about this, watching from her arms as the dratini struck, before his trainer literally tossed him to the wolves.
dodged: rock slide dratini used water pulse togepi used metronome togepi used storm throw admin
The elemental pulse struck him square on, and the sudowoodo's not-bark skin hissed and cracked, weeping some substance that looked like maple syrup but almost certainly was not. With an eye for payback, the sudowoodo lashed back at the dratini with a faint attack.
The sudowoodo saw the togepi coming at it, grabby hands a'ready, and in defense of its cleavage, the sudowoodo lifted a leg and went for a low kick on the little fiend. He swore he'd already stepped on the little egg thing.
He disliked egg things. They reminded him of the bird pokemon that sometimes settled in its branches.
dodged storm throw. used faint attack on dratini. used low kick on togepi. hit by water pulse. still paralyzed.
One of the benefits of being a togepi was being round. THe other was being small. In this case, togepi used both benefits at the same time and rolled on the ground out of the way of low kick. Togepi had been ko'd by this monster before and it was not eager to repeat the experience.
Dratini was not so lucky. Wham bam, thank you ma'am. (Or sir. Unsure if sudowoodo have gender, tbh.) Whatever. She could carry on. Just a surface wound. Just keep throwing out water pulse and maybe we'll get somewhere.
dodged: low kick hit by: faint attack dratini used water pulse togepi used metronome togepi used swagger admin
(This sudowoodo has generous cleavage, but that doesn't necessarily bear any indication upon its chosen gender. It can't help the way it was born. It also can't help its bloodlust.)
The togepi did its walk walk fashion baby thing with its swagger, and suddenly the sudowoodo was inexplicably confused. Did the togepi suddenly have hips? Did the hips lie? It didn't know.
Mind blown, the sudowoodo rushed the two standing pokemon with wood hammer. And then wood hammer again because why not.
dodged water pulse. hit by swagger. no longer paralyzed. now confused. used wood hammer on both used wood hammer on both
