name Drake Alexander Rose age Six-Teen class Trainer hometown Juno personality Down to his very core Drake is cold...He is ruthless, uncaring, logical, and a kind of get in your face kind of person. This is the kind of the guy who could care less if you lived or died in the next two seconds. Drake seems to be the kind of person who seems to have no soul, and doesn't form attachments to anything, whether they be a person, or a pokemon. Of course despite his apparent heartlessness the guy is brilliant when it comes to battle tactics, and strategy. He is willing to go to places that no other trainer is willing to go, and push past those barriers. In a battle he is not above of using underhanded tactics to gain the edge on an opponent, or go to even further extreme's, and use extraordinarily psychotic tactics that would catch the opponent off guard, and allow him to gain the win. He doesn't care about what potential repercussions could face him, and seems to lack any form of empathy.  When it comes to pokemon, Drake is indifferent to them most of the time he is neither abusive, nor kind to them, and treats them as if they are kind of an annoyance to him at times. However he will push them to their limits, and even further if it means that he is going to win a battle. There have been times where others think he has pushed his pokemon to hard, but he just brushes them off, and continues on his way.  He has been called both a genius, and a headcase, but no matter what they call him they can't deny his prowess when it comes to raising, and battling with pokemon.  Drake seems to have a one tracked mind when it comes to Scourge pokemon, deeming them uncurable abominations of nature he doesn't seek to save them, or capture them, only to destroy them, and get his revenge on them for what they did to him so many years ago. Studying up on every battle tactic against them that the could possibly find he believes that he is finally armed with the knowledge that he will need to fight them, and destroy them no matter what.  history Oddly enough Drake wasn't always a sociopathic, heartless, jerk. In fact he use to be a normal boy, enjoying the pokemon of the Kohaku region, and was a very nice, and polite boy. He enjoyed playing with the pokemon that were always around, and took a liking to a newborn Skarmory that always seemed to find it's way to his house. The two of them were always around practicing in fake battles, and learning everything that they could about each other. The two of them were inseparable, and Drake nicknamed the Skarmory, Skar, because it was easier to pronounce for the then child Drake. Drake dreamed of him, and Skar going out on their journey together, and becoming pokemon champions.  That was until the scourge hit when he was fifteen. Of course it didn't happen immediately, but he knew that the pokemon were acting weird. Then it all happened to him, suddenly pokemon came out of the woods, but they were different from the normal ones, and they began to attack those on the grounds of his home on the outskirts of Juno City. The weird zombie pokemon ripped the people that he held close apart in front of his eyes. While the creatures were eating his parents, and the others he took off trying to find help, running out into the open he ran as fast as his legs would carry him, he didn't notice that he was being chased by a Scourge pokemon. Of course in a dramatic cliche moment he tripped, and saw that he was about to become zombie chow.  That was when Skar came to his rescue, and blindsided the Scourge pokemon with a quick, Swift, and then picked him up in it's steel talons, and took him to the main part of town. It was heavily guarded, and he was safe. Drake stayed with his Aunt, and Uncle, but he was never the same after seeing his parents ripped to shreds. He became cold, and uncaring to everyone with the exception of Skar, his only friend. A year passed, and he studied all he could on pokemon, battles, and the scourge to arm himself with the knowledge that he would need in order to seek his vengeance out on the pokemon who destroyed his life.  Stopping to pick up a new trainers supplies he put Skar in his pokeball, and the two of them set off on their journey, much stronger, and much wiser.  ooc Cloud Strife: FINAL FANTASY, drake alexander rose
