His mother and father had planned for him to work at their workshop, his father a carpenter and his mother a tailor. A traditional family, as far as anyone was concerned. However, Vincent grew up to be curious, intelligent and doubtful. As a born scientist, he quickly joined the Pax Institute as an apprentice. The institute changed him, as he now saw himself as better than his childhood friends, even superior to his own parents. Although keeping in touch with his parents, he never participated in his childhood community anymore. The Scourge took out the institute while Vincent was doing an errand. He quickly received word from his parents that they were fine, but that the town was under heavy attack. In order to help, he decided to finally step into the role of a researcher.
