Kind of a normal life, or far from it - depending on the angle, as he would always say. Born in Bacchus town to two parents, both as far away from each other as they could possibly get. His mother, deeply entangled in the arts and acting department, was an aspiring actress with some major roles, hoping to achieve stardom. His father, a full-time business man who liked suits and ties and things, managed a small, private firm in a place he'd never heard of (opposites attracted, he guessed). Colton's mom hoped to have him follow in his footsteps, and spent the good part of his life grooming him to fit the part. Then, the scourge came, claiming Bacchus as one of its first targets. Lost in the chaos of people trying to get underground and others trying to combat the pokemon, they split up - Colton one way, his mother and father the other. He remembers that in a final, dramatic gesture, his mother begged him to 'never forget me and your father', while he rolled his eyes, grabbed her and his father, urging them to find a way out of the city while the insane mob holed themselves up in a dead end. Somehow, only he made it to the gate. He joined the EOS mainly to find his parents again, but also to drive the scourge out of Bacchus so he can get back to his 'normal freaking life' again. ooc face claim: POKEMON, yellow
