This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

The tunnel she was walking in never seemed to stop sloping downwards. Dust and rocks fell in short bursts from the roof that barely cleared her head, and she was moving in near complete blackness.
Still, it would be worth it in the end. Probably maybe. Even as the tunnel passage and forced her to crawl on hands and knees, Thalia felt cool air against her face. She emerged into a large cavern.
looking for a mega stone for alakazam, charizard or blastoise
the cavern was as empty as caverns could be. it was rocky, and sort of ... barren. the sound of water running could be heard, but other than that, there was little of note.
a few wild pokémon scuttled across the ground, kicking up dust and sand. they were too shrouded by darkness to be seen.
"Ahem, yourself" Thalia said. "May I know who I'm talking to, please?"
Perhaps that was an odd reaction but she'd seen a lot of weird shit over the past year. And she had come to the ruins for the exact purpose of more weird stuff happening.
Thalia looked down at the rock beneath her feet. Just as he (?) had said, she couldn't see Weatherfield.
"Hello Weatherfield. My name is Thalia." She scuffed her foot in the dirt. "I'm very pleased to meet you, but I'm afraid we're still rather far apart."
Thalia hurriedly brushed over the scuff mark. "I apologize if I'm standing on you," she said. "Not to be rude, but was there something you required from me? You're the first other...person I've encountered here. That spoke to me at least."
well, you don't seem like a gravedigger. lots of people come here in search of treasures and i suspect you're no different, but you're not holding a shovel. at least you hadn't started digging or scrabbling anywhere. some people can be remarkably rude.
weatherfield paused. the sounds of running water died down somewhat, and a few stalactites sprung down from the ceiling of the chamber.
... sorry. did i startle you? the caves tend to do that.
"It's fine," Thalia assured Weatherfield. "I won't lie; I did come here looking for something. But I've found that asking nicely gets you farther than just barging in and taking whatever you want." Sometimes.
a platform rose from where thalia stood, bringing her to the upper level. what remained below was a pillar of stone that blended well into the scenery. no one would have known that there was a separate cavern above.
weatherfield spoke once again. thanks for some conversation. it's been quite dull here, besides all the indiana jones wannabes.
atop a pedestal made of sapphire was a blastoisinite.
many men had tried to obtain it, but to no avail. you're not king arthur, and that's no excalibur. if you get a bracelet that reacts to the stone, maybe you'll be crowned queen, miss thalia.
it sounded like something out of narnia, didn't it? queen thalia.
the stone sparkled. it would help, somehow. but one needed a bracelet.
unfortunately, i have no idea. some of the past explorers had them, and i had to hide the stone away from them. they weren't subtle about their advances.
the ground shook, and thalia was brought back down to the previous floor.
find someone named bosch. it can tell you about the whereabouts of these bracelets.
