Helvetica was at the dojo, she was seven maybe eight years old. Her and Jayden were fighting over some nonsense. Jayden and Heal had both knocked out a baby tooth by the time her father had pulled them apart, and when they cooled down they just kinda laughed about it. The teeth were lose anyway, besides, tomorrow morning they'd expect dollars under their pillows.
Heal hadn't dreamt lately, no, they were memories. Something seemed off though when darkness overcame the dojo, and slowly her father and Jayden faded away. Soon she couldn't see a thing, and she could feel herself falling.
She woke up startled, and a bit shaken. W-Wait, this wasn't where she had fallen asleep? Why was she in a bed with another person? "Wake up, y-you hooligan!" She yelled as she attempted to cover herself with the blanket.

karimi sleeps like the dead. she rolls over on her belly. that's why she usually had a pokemon beside her, in case scourge ate her in her sleep. however, she's snoozing away in a city at the moment, and her pokeballs remain in her bag. she only turns over on her belly and snoozes away.
Heal rolled the girl over. She's still freaking out, Momentarily, she considered rolling the girl off the bed, but she shakes the idea from her mind with a shake of her head. She wished she'd just get up, that she could explain why they were here. Or a more pressing question, why were they in a bed together? Why did she feel more tired than when she went to bed? And why did she feel sore?
Why wouldn't she wake up? Don't tell her that, that, no-no-no. Fairytales weren't real. Helvetica didn't need to kiss the blue haired girl to wake her up, did she?

karimi lurches up from the bed right after heal kisses her, so the heroic attempt is doubly awkward when sleeping beauty manages to head- errrr, face-butt her.

karimi lays a hand on her forehead, dazed. why does it feel like she's been hit by a cement block? why is she in a bed that she does not recognize?

Helvetica has the pain tolerance of a saint. When she's head-butted, she instantly jerks away, but doesn't make a sound or shed a tear. This was nothing compared to dueling in the dojo, or dueling Jayden for that matter. She lost a lot of baby teeth versing Jayden.
"Princess, I'm fine don't worry." She called her princess because well, she didn't know her name. "I'm glad you're awake, sorry." Sorry about that kiss, she wants to say, but her face is all red from embarrassment and she can't seem to get the words out.
it had been a rude awakening, but karimi had been through worse. rude awakenings were sort of the soup of the day, everyday for an eos researcher in the field.
"noooo i'm really sorry about what happened!" karimi has the decency to look a little sheepish. "...and uh. yeah i'm awake but...where are we?"
she takes a look around. they were in a king bed in a victorian suite. wait, why were they in bed? she certainly doesn't remember frequenting a bar, and this is definitely not her hotel room. she also hasn't forgotten waking up to an awkward kiss.
"...i didn't accidentally stumble into the nerio red light district last night, did i?"
the dream feels a little too real.

Red-light district? Helvetica had fallen asleep at a home visit to Cura. Also, did she just imply Heal was a prostitute? Ew ew ew ew ew. "I don't know," she said, a bit grumpy at assumption that Alla was making assumption. She crossed her arms, whores didn't wear boys' boxer shorts to bed. "I fell asleep in Cura."

A blush of embarrassment covered her cheeks. "You, uh, wouldn't wake up. I guess it uh, sounds a bit silly." She rubbed the back of her head, she curled her hair around her fingers afterwards.

luckily for heal, deflowering wasn't really on karimi's agenda. what was on her agenda, however, was getting the fuck out of this creepy, tasteless place. victorian design never did anything for her. contemporary styles with an emphasis on open space is more her gig.
the music is kinda nice in a omniously creepy way. what would have been even more appreciated was a goddamn door so that they can hightail it out of here. karimi is no expert on creepy-ass hotel rooms, but she figures that anyone who would be abducting young girls would be--
oh there's some wine on the tabletop. and it's the nice stuff, the decent sort of thing that people would usually buy when they're trying to impress their date. karimi walks over to the table.
