This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.

The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

he is presented with two choices. either he could help jax kick the lucario's ass, or he could draw a sign to protect himself. both of them are appealing options.
jax lunges forward for the lucario, and iker hopes that he doesn't regret his choice later.

it hurts even more when he's dumped out of his wheelchair. iker is lucky enough to come out of it without a concussion, but that's of little comfort to him.

manectric stood victorious, but he wastes no time in doubling back to assault batin with an ice fang. he's lucky that the manectric's boost wasn't for accuracy. the pokemon is still one speedy fucker, though. 2tsunz
batin drew the ghost sign and hoped that iker's sign and manectric's attack hit each other. that would be funny
"i would drag off your wheelchair and strand you here i guess," he said. "seems like the proper villainous action. but i'm incorporeal, so you're good."
There was something nice about the hunt, and normally Eifa preferred going off on her own, doing her own little thing with Azar. It was just out of the corner of her eye she saw Batin's partner going into blood rage. She had to check it out.
Who had beaten him into such a position? It was something that she'd no doubt tease him about.
Azar moved in front of her as she got closer, for some odd ass reason, he liked being a meat shield for her. It was love. Though it was making it a bit hard for her to see because he was so fucking huge and in her way."Azar move over." She ordered, and he whined, but did as he was told.
There was a kid, with a... a wheelchair, on the ground. She leaned over so she could see a good look at his face.. it couldn't be, right? It couldn't be Iker. He couldn't have idiotically put himself in danger, right? "Iker? Iker? Iker!" The last time she said his name she stopped kidding herself. This was her brother, and he was both alive and stupid.
"Batin, get the fuck away from him." She fell to his side. "I'll have Azar burn you alive, man. Step down."
Azar looked a bit dumbfounded. Why was his partner protecting this thing? "What?" He grumbled. "I mean, uh, yeah. It's the lady's orders, sorry."
"Iker, Iker, its me, your sister, Mei-" She stopped saying that wretched birth name of her's midword. That wasn't her anymore. "Iker, are you alright?" toska2tsunz
iker's sign and manectric's attack did hit each other, thank you very much. jax became tangled in the string shot, and suddenly the ranger was very thankful that he decided not to kyreum sign batin's ass after all.
jax struggled futily on the floor, but shot a spiteful thunder wave at batin anyway. sucks to be a mainly-physical attacker, man. the doduo remained forgotten.
he hears his name, and iker can only groan in response as he lay there on the floor. who is that? surely it's not -
"the hell, moira - get your ass out of here!" iker hopes that she would listen to him for once in her life. this guy might have gone easy on him, but he was still really bad news.
he can still draw a sign. he isn't helpless. quickly, he draws a dark sign - smokescreen in the direction of her voice. "fucking run"
Yeah she was going to need all the luck she could get. Eifa didn't move when the smokescreen took effect. "He's gone now, Iker relax. Let me help you back into your chair." She stood up, trying the best to see through the smoke, she picked him up from under his arms.
"I never apologized for being such an asshole, and I thought it was too late and you were dead but I didn't lose hope. I'm sorry, Iker." She tried her best to avoid the subject of the virus and Azar, who was floating around. "Are you seriously injured?"
iker is slightly injured, not stupid. "please tell me that wasn't your current boyfriend." is all that he can manage for the time being.
he honestly would not put it past moira to be dating a man like that. how the hell did he get eifa from moira? pet names were weird.
jax decides that he doesn't like the scourge larvesta, and for good reason. despite his injury, jax attempts to thunderwave him before coming in for a spark. GMOT ?
"He's cute, but I wouldn't date him." She answered his question honestly as she sat him upright in his wheelchair. "You're so stupid, stay away from scourge infested areas. You wanna lose an arm, or maybe your life?" He had some kind of death wish.
Azar dodged thunderwave. Azar was hit by spark. The volcarona groaned by this minor annoyance. He used signal beam + bug bite + string shot all within a matter of a few seconds. toska
iker doesn't look entirely convinced. meira is acting weirdly nice to him today, and it's the most bizzare thing that he's been through this week. and that includes punching a bdsm sub in the balls.
he's still a mouthy brat, though.
"you're telling a licensed ranger to stay away from here? it's my job to be here. what are you doing here?" iker has a real excuse. he's killing scourge for eos. or at least beating them up for the time being.
"that's not...that's not a scourge pokemon, is it." he says the words flatly, as it's pretty obvious what azar is. jax snarls as he is being assaulted by multiple attacks the volcarona is fast - faster than jax can keep up with. iker can see that much. "nothing personal."
he's not terribly concerned about meira's threat factor - he's lived with her for years. he knows what she's capable of doing. being beaten up by an older sister for most of his life meant that being shoved around by her wasn't nearly as scary as...say, being pushed around by a strange older man with a murderous lucario.
jax doesn't look so good from the previous battle. iker uses ranger powers to full restore him with the styler.
the manectric charges in with renewed energy. the least that iker can do is support him.

What was she doing? Honestly, she had given in, had given up."I'm not asking you to leave, I'm telling you to leave. I'm bound to these lands, I can't leave." She couldn't have Azar following her into civilization.
"So you finally noticed? That's Azar, and he's scourge. Don't touch him and he won't touch you, he's my pokemon." The firebug was certainly allowed to fight back though.
