the rooftop looked over the entirety of nerio city. there was something different about staring out at the city in the middle of the day, where the sun beat down upon her and the city seemed a lot less intimidating. dirt and smog was in the air, but ikram didn't mind.

she watched the people and pokémon pass down below, everything too small to see properly. she supposed she liked it that way. her chimchar sat by her side, peering through the metal railings. it tried to get a good look at the roads, but ended up gulping and staggering backwards. nope, heights weren't really its thing.

ikram leaned against the rails, enjoying the weak midday sun and non-existent breeze.
