Strongly averse to harming innocents. An expert at thinking on his feet. Brave, albeit to a slightly worrying extent. A showoff with a flair for the dramatic. Generally acts before thinking. Somewhat gullible. Prone to having a singleminded focus. Puts a ton of pressure on himself. history Dan was the adopted son of a pair of aging breeders from Humilau City.  He has never known his birth parents, and honestly doesn't care. Since a young age Dan was trained to work in the family business.  Long, hard hours under the glaring sun have taught him to be strong in the face of struggle, even if he slacked a little too often. Dan never really cared for the breeder's lifestyle.  However, observing Pokemon in the wild was one of his favorite activities, and whenever he had the chance he sneaked away to get a chance at watching them.  At home, his favorite was his father's prized Kingler. As his parents grew older and more sickly, he began taking on more responsibilities so they would have a chance to rest properly.   When Dan turned 16, the family decided to move to Sol City. The Kohaku region's close ties with the Dream World were particularly interesting to Dan, and he hoped in their dreams his parents would be free from the burdens of age and stress.
