Loudly tromping around around Messor Rock, Millie Goldman grumbled out loud as her eyes roamed the area. "Stupid ivy. Stupid nature." she growled, more to herself than her partner Pokemon and her Poke Assist. >>But you're a ranger, you're supposed to like nature.<< the Deino, her partner Pokemon, pointed out, trotting alongside the girl. "Well, yeah, but not when it's poking me with thorns. Ow!" she yelped, stepping on a thorny plant, as if on cue. Ignoring this, the Fletchinder hovering over her right shoulder, her Poke Assist, asked the next question. >>Then why are we even out here?<<

"To train, dammit. I thought I already told you." the ranger growled, trekking on without a backwards glance. "There's supposed to be a bunch of strong Pokemon here, nad you need the levels. The Training Center people won't let me back in until I while, because Ethereal snapped one of the training dummy's neck." The Deino squirmed uncomfortably at this mention, protesting, >>You told me to, so it's not totally my fault..<< Millie dismissed this accusation with a wave of her hand. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Where's all of the strong wild Pokemon, anyways? I thought they came out at dark?"

It was getting hard to see, so Millie withdrew her capture stylus and activated it. >>Umm, Millie, what are-<< The girl cut the Fletchinder off, mumbling, "Shuddup, Pyre." Carefully, with glowing lines, the ranger drew the Electric sign. With a flash of light, the whole forest was illuminated in a soft glow. It faded down into a flickering light that shrouded the vicinity around Messor Rock, so that the girl and her Pokemon could see again. "That should bring out some Pokemon," the girl proclaimed with satisfaction. "And, if we're lucky, some trainers or whatever wandering around here..."

NIX NIGHT

Nix found herself wandering without thinking, her pokemon beside her and paying about a much attention as her. True she wanted to train her pokemon and true she had a fair few weaker ones on her at the moment so training would be a good thing but she also disliked this place as she found her mind thinking to itself about the pokemon she had lost so close to here. She gave a little sigh before she heard a sound and she looked around, was that a human? Shadow and bolt gave little mews at her feet and nix looked down to her canine pokemon and she gave a little chuckle, "lets see if we can find someone" she said to the duo before a pair of tails wagged to her in agreement. The girl pushed off on one foot and flicked her hand up and found a branch above her and pulled herself up on to it before she heard shadow jump up beside her and then came bolts mew, so sweet. Nix and shadow had a past in the trees and climbing but of course her other pokemon hadnt lived through any of that, well he could keep up under them. Or she hoped so at least
