Leon had finally arrived at his destination, the Cypress Labs. Out of anger at how long it had taken him to find the damn lab he kicked a bin over stationed just ouside the front door before walking in. As he walked in he shrugged off his anger slightly before arriving at a desk and thrusting his paperwork on the desk hard. "I am a new researcher, name's Leon Fomortiis Daze. Here's your damn paperwork. Now let's get down to business todefeatthehun" Leon flicked his head back and let the hood fall from his head to reveal his face.
Everybody knew people preferred being able to see other's faces so he knew that the Professor would appeciate seeing his 'amazing' face. how long is this damn man going to keep me waiting at this godforsaken desk for... Leon wasn't the most patient of people however if the Professor wasn't someone he respected he would have already kicked off. He stood there impatiently tapping his feet on the floor whilst simultaneously tapping his finger on the desk creating a rather annoying noise.
unfortunately for leon, it is not the professor that greets him, but a highly irritated gothitelle. <please do refrain from knocking down objects,> she says coldly into leon's head, a glare aimed his way. <the professor is not in at the moment. i am ms. sybil.>
a clipboard, pen, and briefcase floats out of the room she'd just been in, plucked from where it had been by her psychic power. the board descends to her eye-level, where ms. sybil carefully avoids looking at leon. really, the nerve of the youngsters these days. <leon formortiis daze, correct? here are your choices; feel free to release them if it helps you come to a decision.>
He was shocked that the Professor didn't have the gumption to show up himself and the rudeness of the psychic pokemon infront of him. How dare she invade the mind of such an intelligent individual without permission!!! Daze sighed and let it go as he knew that even though the Pokemon was rude, she still could deny him a Pokemon. When the Pokemon summoned the briefcase full of Pokeballs he couldn't help but sqwee in delight, he was finally going to recieve a Pokemon and begin his research
He glanced over all the Pokeballs and devided to release them because he knew he would have a tough time deciding. After releasing them all from the balls he realised this might be a good opportunity to get some Entries for his Dex so he quickly glanced over at the Assistant "Am I by chance allowed to gather entries for the Pokemon I do not choose whilst I am here? Just to give my journey a nice kick in the right direction" He smiled at the Pokemon nicely whilst pondering if he was able to get an entry of her as well.... His mind trailed off before he clapped his hands on his face. ITS DECISION TIME FOCUS He looked over all the Pokemon again and saw one that grabbed his attention. Daze sidled over to the little frog with its frubble coat and smiled down at it "Would you like to come on an Adventure? You seem wise like me" He extended a hand to the Froakie containing it's Pokeball to give it the opion of returning inside the ball or not as well as if it wanted to join him.
<of course,> ms. sybil says mildly, and looks on with disinterest at the following data collection and pokemon choice. it's nothing she hasn't seen before. <welcome to eos, then.>
she hands him a researcher's starter kit - a pokedex, three pokeballs, one virus ball, one potion, one revive - before handing him the froakie's pokeball as well. and, although out of character for her, ms. sybil gives him a stern warning before she goes back to her work. <be careful.>
the scourge had gotten that serious. hopefully this one wouldn't die or wash out too quickly.
"Thank you, pleasure to work with you and i'm always safe" Leon smiled politely to the Pokemon before aiming his new Pokedex at the Psychic Pokemon. As he aimed it the Dex at the Pokemon the camera on the back of it registered the image of the Pokemon. The Dex popped open and began speaking "Gothitelle, the Astral Body Pokémon. Gothitelle's Psychic power is so great that it is said to warp space around it, and distort reality in the process." After the Dex had finished speaking he flicked onto the third menu and noted down his own notes, Speak their own mind, willing to use their powers to invade your mind, more observation needed. Female only met.
After finishing his analysis he looked at the pokemon all around him, it was a dex heaven for his to catalogue. He smiled down to them knowing that each would get their turn. He took his chance to put his items into his satchel before popping Froakie's ball onto his belt.
the gothitelle glances up for a moment, before gesturing toward the nine remaining pokemon on the floor - or in the air, depending on their prefrence - looking up at the researcher. <feel free to analyze each of them before you go,> she said, before returning to her work.
