by beldum standards, this one is still a baby. logistics are important, but less so when it could possibly be offered a chance in a lifetime. thriving in this sort of environment makes it fairly sturdy, it thinks. it thinks that it could probably survive what the fleshy being before it can.

i'm certain you know what you're doing, so my answer would be a yes. J almost continued on his train of thought, but he stopped himself before he did. the mental link was still in place; the beldum could still read his thoughts. he instead focused on the scenery before he entered the strange station, even before the misty valleys, back to the corner of the library he had called a home for the past few nights.

the beldum hovers nervously. it's only...a theory. i have heard of it from the others of my kind.

suddenly, its mind is flooded with foreign images. do they belong to this being? it sends out its psychic pulses, but he does not sense a thing. the beldum is tired of seeing without bearing witness.

it floats along the direction that the two came from. the beldum concentrates and draws upon its psychic power. slowly, a small vortex forms, made of nebulae gas and...something else?

J's only answer was a nod at the strange creature. he didn't know what its psychic powers did, but it knew that the beldum knew what it was doing. it was odd to have strange faith in a creature like that, especially one so inorganic -- but J did just that, and he disappeared from the dream world together with the beldum.
