This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

GRAND OPENING !
Welcome to KOHAKU REGION's grand opening! If you're interested in joining, come check out our grand opening giveaway!
I don't know. I'm still here, sitting amongst hopes and dreams of people starting out. I feel better here, less sick, less ill. I don't know, really. Maybe I'll go to Nerio soon, maybe I won't. It's a very long walk, Mordecai, even though I know Home is just behind that city.
"If you like Juno, you could stay there for a little while longer. It's nice there, and the people are very helpful too. I know for a fact that their Pokémon Center's facilities are very good too. Make sure you use those, okay?
"I promise to. Everyone here is really nice, and the food is always good. One day when my axew gets stronger, I'll go back to Nerio to meet both you and Delilah. His name is Clavier, and he's really nice.
Sometimes other pokémon join us when we're eating, and that's really cool! I've never experienced something like this before, so I guess I gotta thank Clavier for it!
"Knowing you, I'm sure Clavier will grow to be perfectly healthy. I think it might be a good idea for you to stay awhile in Juno too.
Do you feed all of them? Do you have enough money on you?
I think I'm going to keep pushing ahead to Nerio, and maybe see how Home is. I want to see if things are as bad as they were before. I think I'll clear out some Scourge while I'm out there too and then circle back to meet you in Juno.
"I usually manage to feed all of them. I just cook berries or make smoothies out of them, and sometimes other trainers with pokémon drop by to help. It's great to see everyone working together to achieve something, even if it's something as small as a drink.
Okay, so you're not coming back as quickly? That's alright. Take care, and don't lose anything else. Not even a shirt, okay?
