nerio city was less intimidating and scary in the daytime, or at least, that was what isaac thought about the city in general. he'd just obtained his new pokémon, a chansey and a tirtouga. the tirtouga was hardly battle-ready, and he doubted the chansey would listen to him -- for one, clavier still refused to talk to him half the time.

instead of moping around, the boy found himself a nice park to sit in. it was untouched by the scourge, and in the daytime, it was relatively clear of tents. at night it would be a different scene, with homeless people coming back to set up camp in the area. once bellona hills was freed, isaac figured that the park scene would resume its usual peace at night.

but this was the morning, though, and as isaac took a stroll in the park, he figured that it would be a decent way to start his day.
