Kay leaned his back against the grey shell of the Lapras, looking up at the sun and the clouds. The blue-necked nessy sang a beautiful, light tune to herself on the open waters. Land was a distant, paper-thin, and hazy smudge on the horizon. Sunlight pressed her warm, rosy fingers through the cool breeze. It was nice to be alone like this. It was nice to drift and escape the path. Everything seemed to hang weightless.

the sea is a lovely mistress with plenty of children who wish to protect her from those who sully her hue. like any good son should, the seel leaps out of the waters to engage with the undeserving stranger.

maybe he could have ignored any other lapras, but not this one. not this prodigal daughter who brought back this alien threat to their waters.

the huntail attempts to stop them with a scary face before diving for the underbelly. maybe the crunch will be enough for the lapras to flee.

(i'm assuming that the lapras is lvl 54. lemme know if this is no longer the case)
