The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

Osirus stared at the unbelievably large tree before him. He wasn't quite sure how he'd ended up at this point, but he didn't really mind too much. Glancing around, there didn't seem to be anyone, or any pokemon around. Eventually, his attention returned to the tree. It seemed like the sort of place a bug pokemon might enjoy staying. So, Osirus decided that the smart thing to do would be to approach the tree, and begin scouring it for any bug pokemon he could find. Even if he didn't find any, it would still be a bunch of fun to enjoy himself in the tree. With how large it is, he wouldn't be surprised if there was some amazing stuff hidden within it's branches.
As Ludis stared at the tree before him, he was zoned out, focused on what? He couldn't tell you. However, a flash of orange in the branches above caught his attention. Without thinking he scaled the tree, chasing after the glimpse. He didn't question how he could do it with one arm. He was focused, alert. In his mind, he imagined that the flash was one of his beloved pokemon, but in reality it could have been anything from a leaf to a figment of his imagination. Eventually, he came to a rest in the branches, breathing heavily, and reclining against the thick trunk left with only a fleeting memory of days passed.
