The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

Nix was starting to catch on now, she had managed to find one of the only people in the world who tried not to say more than 5 words together. She rolled her eyes a little though she found herself looking back at minx and her seemingly new freind, the eevee now trying to help her back on to her feet. She struggled for a moment before she rocked forwards with the help from a nudge from the male and wobbled on to her feet before she nodded and turned, waving at mimi to come over and see the new freind she had now made vertigo
Nix smiled at her pokemon and turned back to the male to try and get him to speak, maybe he could tell her where this other person lived or how to find them. Though it seemed even fate didnt want to try to to talk to him, just as she opened her mouth a pair of pokemon appeared and nix started back. She had so not seen that coming, She wasnt exactly unhappy with it but it was a shock! Minx darted forwards past mimi and her new freind and put her arms out to keep the pokemon back from them both but nix knew that was merely wishful thinking, "You gotta attack minx, a battle will keep them back" nix told her as she walked over to the ground of pokemon and bent down to pick mimi up. "They may be wild but we still stick to the rules, minx, tickle and confusion!" she said with a nod and minx darted forwards to attack the pokemon closer to her, the flying type.

good thinking, J thought as he glanced at the budding trainer. a battle was definitely a way to grow stronger. he scooped chrome up into his hands and watched her fight. no way was he going to let his non-battle pokémon into the fray. the eevee cocked its head and barked its name happily.

Nix watched the male move his pokemon out of harm way and she then shook her head, well that made things more fair. "Mimi, thunder wave on glameow and then dragon pulse on her too" she whispered to the pokemon in her arms and mimi jumped forwards and ran in to attack, minx on the other hand was not so lucky. Sure she managed to land a hit but the fake out and then hypnosis that came back at her were most badly timed, the little pokemon was knocked back before she dropped onto her back fast asleep.

Nix turned to minx and she curled her fists tightly, that wasnt fair. "Come on minx..." she said with a little hiss in her voice and then the Pokemon set down on her, the cat scratching at her before mimi shot forwards and sent another thunder wave at her target pokemon. The cats loud unhappy sound seemed to wake minx, or maybe it was luck,, but she was back on her feet all the same. "yes, minx us confusion on the bird. Mimi attack it too with dragon pulse" nix said with a small smile, this was a little better than she had seen this going

Nix watched her Pokemon battle and she felt proud of them, attacks hitting well and they were doing really good. That was until mirror move came in to play, and mimi took a hard hit backwards. The little Pokemon mewed in pain before she threw herself round and shot a thunder wave at the little bird Pokemon before another dragon pulse as well, clearly not ready to give in yet. Minx took an attack as well but it wasn't going to slow her down either, she came back with another confusion but on starly again and then turned to use tickle on the glameow as well

just as quickly as he had thought those thoughts, he sensed that the girl may be in need of some help. yet, J did not offer a hand. he had other pokémon in the waiting, ones that could handle things if it got too tough for the new kid. she could stand to feel the heat for a while more, though.

Nix could feel her chest growing tight as her pomemon attacked and they were indeed slowing, wether from the tiredness or the hits on them she wasnt quite sure. But, this seemed only to make them feel stronger. Both of them managed to land both their hits and nix clapped her hands and nodded her head, "Well done you two!" she said with a wide smile before she looked at the other pokemon. They had taken a few hits now, and seemed still not to be falling. They just needed to keep this up, "Right, focus all your attacks on the bird! Mimi, leer and dragon pulse! Minx, confusion and tickle!" nix said with a firm but very excited voice. She had a chance of winning this, and that only made her team all the stronger

those attacks did it. they successfully knocked out the two wild pokémon; she was free to capture it if she wished. J watched on, giving the girl a nod of encouragement.

the starly and glameow were sprawled on the ground, their eyes rolling about in their sockets, as they were dazed.
Nix watched her pokemon attack and she smiled, they moved so well for being so tired and so beaten down. Though the wild pokemon falling backwards did come as a little bit of a shock for her, she had always hoped to win of course but never really seen it coming. "Well down you two! Thats really good!" nix said to her two girl as she bent down and held out her hands to the, both of them turning back to her and leaning against her. She beamed at her pokemon before she looked to the two who had fainted behind them, nether were on her list. Nether were even close, but she still felt responsible for them. Maybe just moving them of the path would be best, so they didnt get even more hurt by someone or something else
