tiebout is exactly the type of person who comes to the "pancake, waffle, and donut factory" for dinner. or, linner, rather. it was too early for dinner. but he came here early for a reason. no one likes a restaurant crowded with the evening rush.

he was actually expecting the place to be empty. unfortunately it was packed to the brim, in fact, the only seats available were the ones at the bar. but eeew, who wants to sit at the bar when you're underage and no one will give you a drink. he followed the waitress anyway and put his coat on the bar chair, about to sit down when he saw a woman (or was she still a girl?) sitting alone at a large booth.

what. so unfair. tiebout could not possibly let this disgusting feeling continue, so he stood right back up and started towards the table and nervously muttered "ma'am, can i ask you to, um, maybe relocate to the bar? i have irritable bowel syndrome, and, um, this seat is closer to the bathroom and people won't be as offended if they smell anything..."
