The Valentine's Day Event is straightforward. You submit your characters to my mercy. I write their name on a card. I get a deck of cards. I deal them out two at a time. Your character goes on a blind date with whoever they're paired with.
Darkrai wanders the dreaming tonight. The gathers the souls it passes and sends them to the Land of Nightmares, where they are trapped with one other. Cresselia follows in Darkrai's wake. Some are spared by its mercy.
CRESSELIA OPTION: Cresselia's event is intended for lower level characters that would probably die in the Land of Nightmares, and anyone looking for a bit of fun. Cresselia whisks away a pair of dreamers and provides them a lovely, romantic dinner date for two. Exact accommodations vary, but they are always luxurious and pleasing. Depending on the characters, it may not end up very romantic at all, but the effort was there. Cresselia but gives you the tools. You got to provide the true love.
DARKRAI OPTION: Darkrai's event is intended for higher level characters that are up for a torturous experience, or if their luck bails them out, a perfectly survivable horror story. Darkrai transports two dreamers to the Land of Nightmares. They are trapped, together, in a bloody Victorian bedroom suite. Dinner, surprisingly palatable, is available, but no means of escape. Here too, there may be romance. The environment may not be as conducive. Darkrai didn't really try.
In either option, rolling for hijinks is highly encouraged.
To enter this event, reply to this thread with your character's NAME, CRESSELIA/DARKRAI/EITHER and, optionally, their gender and sexual orientation
I will do my best to match up appropriate sexual orientations, but sometimes the stars just won't align.

Apologies for such a short sign-up period. I didn't intend on having an event and all. Normally, I would've opened sign-ups at least one weekend ahead.
My intention is that threads can get started on Thursday, so that by Friday on Valentine's Day itself, we can have ourselves some merry threads.
I'll probably close the sign-ups and start doing draws (which will be put live into the cbox, as per tradition) at about 8PM EST or so. It might be earlier, depending on how quickly I can write up match-making cards.
