She'd felt better. She couldn't really feel much worse without feeling dead.
Neo entered the bar shaky on her feet, numb in her toes, couldn't seem to feel her fingertips, and her pupils are shot wide.
It only took her one glance at Thalia and J for her to decide she sure looked a lot better than them.

Thalia smiled like a wolf at Neo, gold flecks from the slopped bottle of goldschläger glittering on her hand.
"Even if we could get drunk, it'd be worth it. We've had a hell of a day." Her eyes narrowed, and she looked at Neo more carefully. Putting the bottle down on the ground, she hopped back over the bar and approached the other girl, a little cautious.
