the broken metal hit against solid ground, and a yelp came from the back of the bar. the bartender was very, very traumatized by the turn of events. a bunch of mutants had just burst into her bar and rampaged around, for god's sake. also there was a lot of blood. this wasn't any normal bar fight. this probably wasn't even a bar fight. she whimpered and backed up into a wall.

J relaxed into a sitting position. now what? they'd apparently fixed thalia, and neo was back into scientific mode as she gave thalia a once-over. he probably didn't have any other reason to remain here, but he did.
