he's definitely had the occasional nightmare about the scourge, having never fought one himself. iker isn't quite sure how he got so lucky with avoiding all of them up to bacchus. what's stupid about the whole thing isn't that he's fearful of the scourge - only idiots were completely free of that fear. his expectations are the dumb part. why would he have such vivid, specific nightmares about what he does not yet know?

if he's going to wake up in a pool of sweat, then the dream better be true to life.

iker lounges under the tree with his manectric. they're going to get stronger. they're not about to die from some scourge. if they had experience, then they certainly stood a chance of winning.
