The Kohaku Reporter SPRING | Morning Edition | Proserpina City Ceres Forest Survives MAR 22ND - It's been a tough fight in Ceres forest, and Kohaku's heart goes out to the rangers of Juturna Village and all the Eos who came to support them.
"Could have been better, could have been a lot worse." said a ranger who was making his rounds after Ceres had been secured.
Although the scourge have been driven out of most of the areas, the Amberwell did not fare so well. Some believe the possibility that the scourge had targeted the Amberwell in an attempt to sabotage vaccine production. Others believe that the Hades Agents are responsible since most scourge Pokemon are mindless killers.
Regardless of the theory, current vaccine production has been cut in half in an effort to conserve what is left of Amberwell water. Kohaku University would like to emphasize the conservation of vaccines.
For now, many researchers have come out to Ceres forest in order to investigate ways in which to restore the lifeblood of the Eos war effort. The Elite Four Olivia has also been heading her own investigation. Those who are not so scientifically-minded have gone out to drive out what remains of the scourge.
Those who have less faith in the Amberwell have discussed the possibility of finding a restorative elsewhere, although those efforts have borne less fruit.
Code Red is currently off for Ceres forest, but the Pokemon Association would still like to emphasize caution. Scourge sightings aren't unusual at night.
More updates on the investigations will follow.
