This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

The angry insanity that always appeared upon waking was very much absent, meaning only one thing; this was a dream. Dreams that weren't nightmares were becoming increasingly rare, and one with such specifics as this one were nearly impossible. A small, multicolored wing gently prodded her neck, and the Archen responsible for the prodding was doing so because he was sure that this was his own dream. It must have been a dream and not a nightmare, for the one he was guarding was so peaceful, and the scenery was the same. Perhaps it was both their dreams, and fantastic ones at that, but to a certain Houndour that was also in said dream, it was mediocre at best.
Being away from his usual dream of being on top of the world and having everyone obey his every command was slightly annoying, but he kept a look of mystification to 'please' his Trainer. He admitted, her somewhat random bursts of monstrosity (the ones that he had seen instead of being locked in a bathroom for 'safety purposes') both amused and shocked him; such a gentle human's transformation into such a beast wasn't normal to say the least. He'd obey her if only for the amusement of seeing her insanity. But now, he was with her when she was weak and sane, and with that obnoxious 'guardian' that always was perched upon her shoulder. He knew that the feeling of hatred between them was mutual, and he stayed firmly on the other side of his trainer as he kept his fake dazed expression.
Looking around, the Trainer in question began to take in the scenery and everything that it contained, fearful that she might not see it again for a long time. She had noticed that her two Pokemon were here, as well as all of her items, so she must be somewhere specific. Maybe they were all having the same dream? Maybe she had slipped into a coma during sleep and her mind was just making these things up? Well, whatever had happened, she was enjoying it. The place looked much like a station, but she couldn't tell as for what. Trains? Buses? Well, the thing she could see clearly was the moon, bright and shining on the area, turning everything a sparkling silver. She liked this, and clutched her Darkrai pendant to signify it. She took a few deep breaths of this fantastical air, and it was cool and fresh. She liked this, too. She wondered if this fantasy would last long enough for her to meet another Pokemon, and she began wandering around the station.
But in the end, wasn't it all just a dream?

ooc: I would love for her to meet a Rotom or an Aron. You don't have to, that's just what I want. :3
MALE | LV05 SPLASH | CHARM | ENCORE Wynaut used Charm and Splash!
As per usual, the Moonlit Station was mostly abandoned, save for a Pokémon or two. It was here that this little Wynaut had made his home. The little blue creature bounced around the cold floor with a perma-smile while he cried out happily, "Wy wy, wynaut!" Of course, these words had no particular meaning to them and the Wynaut was speaking for the sake of noise. Occasionally trainers within the Dream World came by and he would pester them with his continuous lines of "Wy? Wy? Wyyyyy?" until they wanted to kick the thing. Then he'd initiate his Charm attack and the trainers would be dissuaded from attacking him. So to an extent, the Wynaut did have a brain, but most of the times, quite frankly, he was pretty derpy. And it was exactly this that made him quite loveable depending on who you are, of course
So when Addison appeared in the middle of the station, he flailed his ears in joy and bounced in her direction. "Wynaut wy!" he exclaimed, greeting the girl while waving his ears now up and down at her. In fact, the waving became so intense that he ended up faceplanting right on the edge of the sidewalk. He gave her an attempted thumbs-up to assure her that he was okay before wriggling back onto his little blue feet.
But maybe Addison was looking for some more entertainment. Being on the floor had struck him with an idea, and to accentuate this point, he let out another triumphant, "Wynaut!" before flopping back over onto his stomach. He rolled onto his left side, then his right side, before flailing about with a happy face, giggling his species name over and over again. It was... a rather strange little creature, but in all honesty, he just wanted to play. Even without the fact that there was any water in the Moonlit Station, the Pokémon still managed to pull off a Splash attack.
Scratch that. From the corner of his eye, Wynaut spied a puddle of water. "Wynaut wy!" he chirped before hopping back onto his feet and waddling over to the puddle. Letting out a high-pitched battle cry, he leaped into the puddle and began splashing about once again. Inside, he was hoping that Addison would join in on the fun.
The moonlit peace and silence coated the three in a heavy blanket, and it was almost choking to the normally quite loud Houndour. However, he coped with it only to prove to this human that he could tolerate silence, as he'd be hearing quite a lot of it when he conquered the world and forced it into quiet. But, this silence was abruptly interrupted, much to the gratitude of the canine and the chagrin of the human and bird, by a small blue Pokemon.
Addie was sort of sure what this was, and her ideas were proven when it bounded in front of her shouting its name syllables with a passion. At first, she was afraid that it might be angry, but this was quickly and thoroughly corrected when it gave a blissful grin and began waving its ears around in what seemed to be a joyous motion. In fact, it did so right until it managed to flop itself onto the pavement below. She wondered whether or not it was injured, but it gave what was almost a thumb-up, and quickly righted itself.
While both Addie and Kane's expressions were quizzical, Ion's was of bloodlust. Finally! A chance to show his true power to this weak human! In fact, just as that moronic Wynaut brought itself back up onto its feet, he bared his white fangs in a menacing, yet excited, manner. He could just feel the fiery attack brewing in his throat, and he suddenly wanted to leap at it with as much might as he could muster. Kane, however, had taken his attention away from the blue Pokemon, and was now giving a watchful glare to the canine, who was looking a bit overexcited.
Addie, unlike her two Pokemon, was intensely focused on the odd psychic-type. It seemed a bit off, but this was probably due to a general lack of intelligence rather than a mental disorder, which saddened her just a bit. It seemed a bit overly giddy as it rolled over on its side many times; it looked as if it was in ecstasy. However, it was trying to please her, and she let out a small chuckle at its odd antics. It was cute, if anything.
As soon as it finished flailing about, it got up and walked over to a nearby puddle of water that she hadn't noticed before. It let out a surprising battle cry and began splashing around like a child. The puddle water went everywhere, and some got on her face, making her giggle a bit more. This Wynaut really was trying hard to make her happy, and she appreciated this. Her giggle turned into a laugh as the splashing continued, and she was almost inclined to wade in and play around with it. In fact, she even took the necessary forward steps to do so.
The bluish canine was absolutely disgusted by both his Trainer's lack of a spine and the Archen's willingness to defend her at every opportunity. In fact, he got so riled up that, despite the Archen's careful glare, he ran excitedly up to the blue Pokemon. As a few splashes of water sizzled on his hot pelt, he howled his own battle cry and decided to give it a piece of his mind.
Both Addie and Kane, needless to say, were pretty angry with him for doing so.

Kane used Howl and Ember! Level Five Leer | Ember | Howl | Sucker Punch
MALE | LV05 SPLASH | CHARM | ENCORE Wynaut used Splash!
Of course, this little Wynaut thought little to nothing of Kane. In fact, he didn't find him much of a threat at all. Kane was just another friend, no? Oblivious to the Houndour's Ember, he continued to flail and splash about in the puddle. In fact, he was just about splashing his water onto Kane. Did he care? Not in the slightest bit! In fact, he quite wanted Kane to join in on the fun. The Wynaut, by now, was pretty happy with what he'd accomplished. Somehow, through his closed eyes, he noticed that Addie was giggling at him. Success! "Wynaut wywy wyyy!" he exclaimed as he rolled out of the puddle and shook his bluish fur dry.
The Houndour's howl did not seem to intimidate the Wynaut either. Perhaps he was brave or just too blissfully stupid to be afraid. He was happy to bounce over towards Addison's side. In fact, now, he prodded her ankle slightly with his long ears. He wanted her to play with him. After prodding her, he bounced over to the Houndour and gave him a good thumbs-up. Where exactly the Wynaut had learned how to do this, no one actually knew. But it was a very useful trick he'd picked up, for it seemed that the humans quite enjoyed it.
The Wynaut seemed to hum to itself as it danced around Kane. "Wynaut wy! Wynaut wyyyy!" it cried out in glee, laughing to itself before twirling on one foot and swaying from left to right. There was no need for such hostility. He danced over to Addison now, then flopped back over and proceeded to roll on over to the puddle again. He hopped around in it, splashing around a bit more before calling Addison over, "Wynaaaut!" The puddle was big enough for both of them anyways, and he would have been happy to have her Houndour and Archen to join them.
