Locked away, the doors to the Velvet Hall don't open for just anyone. Even many hades agents are left locked out, unable to pass through the beautiful, ruby encrusted doors. Inside the Velvet Hall, the atmosphere is comforting and hospitable--quite a feat for such a large, magnificent space. Anything one might desire appears with but a wish. Once you enter, it's hard to leave. Leaving feels like a betrayal, like abandoning a loyal pet at the pound.
