name Egan Trance age eighteen class trainer hometown proserpina city personality positive:enthusiastic confident determined curious independent negative: naive over-zealous rash gropey bellicose history Before the swarm Egan Trance was a pretty odd kid; whilst most other children his age were fully engrossed in starting out their pokemon trainer journey, Egan had and has always wanted to be a musician. Instead of a pokemon, he received his first guitar at age 10. He hasn't looked back - he still keeps it with him, after all.  Of course, eventually, the tide of pokemon washed over him - he actually went to Hoenn as a vacation and beat four of the gyms there. Before returning, however, he released his roster in his more than emotional defeat to the fifth gym leader, Norman. Egan's life wasn't really affected all that much by the swarm; his parents were very sheltering and as a child all he really wanted to do was play death metal, so he didn't care too much about virulent pokemon. Still, a few of his more adventurous friends wound up dead as a result of the hades virus, and so he's slowly but surely becoming more "up-to-date" on the know-how in terms of managing to stay alive. His survival instincts are pretty great for a knucklehead like him, though he joined the Eos program just to be safe, getting in by the skin of his teeth.
