BUT ON ANOTHER LEVEL, i think these two would honestly make good friends. though ariel wouldn't have given a flying rat's ass about the scourge if it hadn't affected him, because he's selfish and inconsiderate for the most part.  idk, i kinda wanted something between chill sometimes, ariel attempts to molest him other times, and bickering some other times. because they could both probably get stuck on something stupid, like wailords live generally in the abyss and get stuck on it for hours b/c they're both stubborn? IDK. i'm bad at this.
