After four years of staying clear of the law, the finally caught up to him. He could've turned in his compatriots for a lighter sentence, but there is honor among thieves. They threw him in prison on a thirty year sentence for grand theft and premeditated murder. Then the scourge happened, and they let him out on parole. In the end, the Eos Program need recruits, and Griff is an ideal candidate. He wears a tracker on his ankle that keeps him out of trouble, and as long as he fights for Kohaku, he gets to keep his freedom.
