forming a team of pokémon was a delicate task for J. he wished to train them against the scourge, but he wasn't a man best equipped for this. an entire team of steel-types was more than often not a death-wish. he trekked through the soggy patches around the lake, occasionally glancing at it to see if anything poked its head out of the water.
people say they used to belong to the same trainer, but that's a myth. they're just a gang who got together somehow, somewhere. none of them really 'member.
yet still, they work better in numbers. and they're gonna take town this trainer. they all yip together in perfect coordination, their barks sounding oddly like words.
This thread is timeline shenanigans, apparently. That's alright. Neo is inexplicably here. Recall: she likes hanging around Lake Pax, because she hates herself or something. Anyhow, the Kawaii Krew will regret their existence when they realize how much paperwork it is to keep track of a battle with five participants.
Neo heard the commotion from afar, had been hearing them for an hour now. Slowly, she'd tracked a pack of scourge pokemon. When she finally found them, she was glad to see that she wouldn't have to battle them all alone.

umbreon gave a wolf howl and growled, preparing herself for battle as vaporeon dragged flareon's mangled body into the woods. they'll dig her a grave later.
the reinforcements are somewhere among the trees and nature in lake pax when they hear umbreon's call. they comeas quickly as they can, one with a chilling aura and the other with flowers sprouting among it's feet.

type coverage meant nothing to J. steel-types were always sturdy and guaranteed to inflict neutral damage somehow. J watched the glaceon get hauled away by the rest of the eeveelution pack and thought nothing of it. the last one probably couldn't get dragged away unless more scourge appeared, in which case he was ready to smash their faces in as well.
